For her final presentation of a three-part series at Vero Beach Elementary School, Utility Marketing Coordinator Jenny Tomes unveiled her alter ego, “Water Woman,” to teach the fifth grade class about water conservation. Water Woman shared simple ways kids can help save water at home by turning the faucet off when brushing teeth, taking short showers, and not flushing trash down the toilet. The group of water-saving superheroes also learned the differences between tap and bottled water, plus analyzed a taste of each. The students received their own refillable water bottles and color-changing reusable straws.
