Water Distribution & Preventative Maintenance Superintendent Rob Noon and Supervisor George Cirruto received the Service Member Patriot Award by the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), a division of the Department of Defense.

The Patriot Award recognizes supervisors or bosses who provide support for an employee who serves in the National Guard or Reserve. Rob and George were nominated by service member and Water Systems Distribution Operator Julie Kimble. The Patriot Award reflects the efforts made to support citizen warriors through a wide range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed.

The award was presented by Paul and Paula Nicoletti, Ombudsmen with Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR) at the Port St. Lucie City Council Meeting on January 28.
