Sun Grove Montessori Middle School students visited the James E. Anderson (JEA) Water Treatment Plant for a guided tour of the facility with the plant operators to learn more about the treatment process and where the water comes from. The group also sat down for a classroom presentation where they created their own water filtration systems and learned about the importance of water conservation.
This information aligned with their science studies, and this opportunity allowed them to experience the water treatment process first-hand.
