Local homeschool students were able to drink in the water treatment process during their tour of the Prineville Water Treatment Plant. The kids learned about the Floridan and surficial aquifers, reverse osmosis, and how plant operators monitor it all. During the classroom presentation, students dove deeper into the forms of water, the water cycle, and water conservation. Port St. Lucie Utility Systems is passionate about connecting with the community and encourages local groups to take advantage of the educational opportunities this department offers.
