You can help protect your sewer system and prevent backups by only flushing toilet paper and human waste. Although many products say "flushable," it doesn't mean they will break down any time soon. Septic tanks, grinder or STEP systems, and gravity systems are all susceptible to clogs and backups because of wipes. Keep trash out of your toilet.
