Artwork wraps up rehab project

Friday 2 October Artwork wraps up rehab project

A few finishing touches were added on to some elements of the completed rehab of one of the original filters at the Prineville Lime Softening Water Treatment Plant. Instead of replacing the aesthetically unpleasing console, which would have cost tens of thousands, Chief Operator Bryan Hirsch found a much more economic solution—a wrap! With a little TLC and beautiful H2O artwork, the console, which controls all of the filter’s valves, got a much-needed facelift.

The results were so great, they had the Nephelometric Turbidity Unit (NTU) cabinet wrapped to match. The NTU cabinet houses the instruments used for measuring the turbidity of the water. The operators appreciate the pops of color among the concrete walls and new stainless steel piping.
